Hands off our women

By Anastasi Mokgobu

It is never okay to abuse women and make excuses .This has become a culture and nature in man that if a women is wearing a mini skirt she is automatically asking for sex and this is a wrong mentality that is corrupting man .
We all have the right to  wear what we like without fear of what man will say about it .But this has never been easy .
Women are scared of man , we are scared of them stealing from us, we are scared of being raped , we are scared of being beaten up , we are scared of raising our voices but they say we live in a country were man and women are equal .
The rate of women and children abuse is increasing every year and women continue to be more scared .its only us women who have to speak up and protect each other .Let's unite and be one voice against gender based violence.

Definition of Teen Entrepreneurship

By Anastasi Mokgobu

Who would have thought that a 13 year old learner can start a business and have their own companies ? It may sound too good to be true but it is possible with SAGE .( Student for the Advancement Global Entrepreneurship ) .It was exciting and amazing to realize how young intellectual minds can influence the world, SAGE has given teenagers a good platform to realize their potentials .
For the first time I saw a group of determined learners and hard workers who believe in their work ,And who are willing to put more effort for their ideas to become a success . Teen Entrepreneurship Business Literacy is a good foundation to expand learners minds beyond school, and to keep them away from any activities that can damage their minds at a younger age .
It can be good if all teenagers can have an opportunity to work together and use their talents to start their own businesses and engage  in Organizations that bring positive impact to the youth and developing the economy of the country.
Working on SAGE project as Jalang Peo Media intern and having an opportunity to see learners presenting their innovative ideas has made me realize that school cannot stop anyone from changing the world , if you have a great idea that can influence the world, age is not a limit . I believe that learners who are part of SAGE are very focused and even more determined in their studies because they have big dreams and cannot afford to fail .Age doesn't limit the capacity to be the independent.

Entrepreneurship is known to be a challenging sector that can only be managed by Adults. However SAGE (student for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship) gives teen entrepreneurs the opportunity to start their own businesses and to be their managers as well. The aim is to encourage teens to be leaders, and it teaches the students  responsibility and accountability after matric and during their journey in entrepreneurship.
SAGE is a global non profit organisation that was established to change the world by establishing teens to be their own boses. The focus is mainly on supporting teenagers who are interested in entrepreneurship from an early age. They encourage teens to participate at the Global standard. “Teenagers must be between 13-19 years, have a business idea or an existing business the teams will be contacted by a respective provincial coordinator for mentorship and presentation training ” Amogelang Modise SAGESA CEO assistant said.
SAGE is hosting a competition that gives teenagers the opportunity to show their enterprenual skills  and to get recognition that will take them to the next level. They offer  mentorship, curriculum and competition. The winners of the competition receives prices in a form of sponsorship to travel internationally and join the global challenges . “Their  provincial coordinators have been awarded with the experience to travel  places such as South Korea,Ukraine,Russia and to the Phillippines”  Modise added.
The teen group  winner for the event will further participate internationally at  Durban in August.Interested teen entrepreneurs are advised to visit http://sageglobal.org

Be strong women

Its often us women who find it very hard to move on after a breakup ,maybe is because when we love we give all our heart and soul, we create attachments with people we love and that becomes difficult to withdraw when the time to part comes .but nomatter how much you love your partner at some point your going to have to accept when they say your no longer good for them ,you don't have to like it or be angry with them for waisting your time .the temptations to call will keep on rising especially in the early days of break up but you can set a discipline schedule to remind you why it is necessary to move on .write down a list of the things that you didn't like about him or anything you can achieve without him  this is to help you find your greatness and strength until the time pass.

Let us learn from all the people we meet and get closer to

All the people we meet whether friends ,love partners ,sex partners and family members are sent in our lives for different purposes but often we don't realize as we pay more attention on the love we share ,the joy we endulge in friendship and the happiness that just having someone next to you can bring .
From time to time when we meet people we have to pay attention on the transformation that happen in us .it might not having a meaning as it goes on but in the end when we look back we realize the change that each person we met has brought in our lives .
Even that friend who take you out every weekend for one bottle of alcohol and end up putting your life in danger is purposeful .only after 5 years when you look back to a day you became cautious that if it wasn't for that one night ruined your money may still be drowning on bottles .
We must love ,appreciate and accept to learn from all different people that we meet in our lives matter how bad they look .

Moving on from an abusive relationship

Moving on from an abusive relationship .
Anyone can be a victim of an abusive relationship and it can be very hard to move on from this relationship. It is addictive ,it is threatening and it makes you feel less worthy without this person .
The moment you realize that the relationship is getting abusive take a first step to change it ,try to understand why your partner is getting abusive and if you realize that they can't change the situation walk away immediately. It doesn't have to give you bruises to be abusive ,even verbal abuse can have psychological effect and no one deserves to live with a person who threaten their lives .
We all know  this can be very hard at first but through the help of reading books that remind you of your worth ,your greatness and your strength you can do it .
If you find yourself being easily tempted to call the person .write a note on your phone with a message that remind you why you left the relationship and make it appear whenever you attempt to call .
Remember its not only women and children who experience the abuse even man can become victims just find the strength to move on
